Nawa-i-Waqt has a history of 70 years. The paper was founded by Agha Shorish Kashmiri in Karachi, Pakistan. It is based in Islamabad and Karachi. There are two other newspapers that also publish under same name – one in Lahore and another one in Peshawar (NWK). Nawa-i-Waqt started publishing its special editions called Nawai Savera published thrice a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Dawn (newspaper)
The Dawn is a daily English-language newspaper in Pakistan. Founded in 1941 in British India by Mirza Ahmad Suman, it remained a family-owned newspaper until 1958 when it was bought by Muhammad Ali Jinnah (died 1948) as part of an initiative to support Pakistani industry and products. After his death and before nationalization of major newspapers, The Dawn became one of several nation's leading newspapers owned privately or controlled directly by governments. Since then, it has remained one of Pakistan's most widely read dailies with a circulation of more than 100,000 copies per day.
Its main office is in Karachi and its current editor is Zaffar Abbas. The Dawn was founded in 1941 by Mirza Ahmad Suman (died 1958) as a publication to promote friendship between Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. In 1958, it was bought by Muhammad Ali Jinnah (died 1948), who envisaged it as an alternative newspaper to counter what he believed was an anti-Pakistan bias in Pakistan's then only English-language newspaper, The Pakistan Times.
Nation (newspaper)
Dawn Newspaper is a leading Pakistani English-language daily newspaper. It is Pakistan's oldest newspaper still in print, having been founded as The Dawn (English News) on 16 October 1941 in Lahore by Jamaat-e-Islami founder, religious scholar and anti-colonial activist, Muhammad Ali Jinnah; it was launched as a bi-weekly. In Pakistan it is regarded as part of journalism history and was an important outlet for voicing opposition to military rule during General Zia ul Haq's Martial Law from 1977 to 1988.
Jang Group of Newspapers
The Jang Group of Newspapers is one of Pakistan's largest media conglomerates. Owned by Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman, it publishes four leading daily newspapers, two monthly magazines and eleven periodicals including Dawn News Television. It has a strong presence in all regions of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Quetta and Peshawar. The paper is politically affiliated with PML(N) but maintains its independent voice in reporting events.
The News International
News International has a circulation of more than 1.5 million and is read by 6 to 7 million Pakistanis in Pakistan and abroad, as well as an international audience. It is published daily from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and Faisalabad in English and Urdu. Its readers are from all social strata including academia, business, politics and military circles. Dawn: Dawn has built a reputation for providing rigorous and independent journalism since its founding in October 2002.

Daily Times (Pakistan)
The Daily Times is an English-language daily newspaper in Pakistan. The newspaper has been called Pakistan's most credible and pluralistic outlet. It is an influential and widely read newspaper, known for its investigative journalism. With its headquarters in Karachi, it also prints simultaneously in Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi/Islamabad and has correspondents nationwide. There are also two international editions printed from London: one for Asia (including South Asia) titled Dawn Asian Edition; and another for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) titled Dawn Europe Edition. The main edition of Daily Times was founded by Shahid Aziz who served as editor of Dawn for about 20 years until 2005 when he died of a heart attack.

This pakistani newspaper was started in 1980 and is now owned by a private company called Frontier Media Group. The company was established in 1978 and also owns some other media outlets such as Roznama Pakistan, an Urdu-language daily published from Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta; Daily Khabrain, an Urdu daily published from Multan; Kamraz (weekly), a local newspaper published from Gujranwala; Ferozpur Samachar (daily), a Punjabi-language daily published from Ferozpur; The Muslim Times (weekly), an English weekly published from Sargodha.
