How fresher can get job in USA?
It is the most popular question in fresher’s mind. Am I eligible to get job in USA? How to get Job in USA? How fresher can get job in USA? Finally, how much salary do fresher can expect in US after graduation? I am going to discuss everything you need to know about getting jobs in USA and making money there as fresh graduate and what should be your plan of action before even thinking of going to US for higher studies or working there as fresh graduate!
Things you must know before moving to the USA
The first thing to understand about moving to the United States is that you have to apply for a visa. H1B visas are the most common and are specifically issued for jobs in the U.S. There are some exceptions, like the O-1 or H-2B visas which may be obtained based on certain qualifications.
The next important step is establishing your business. This means obtaining all necessary licenses, registering with tax authorities and making sure your business accounts work as expected. You may need an EIN for this or if you're just freelancing and not considered self-employed you won't need one.
If you plan to work remotely, then you'll need a work permit, which means meeting a lot of paperwork and strict eligibility requirements. In some cases, depending on your visa type, you may be able to receive permission from USCIS while on U.S. soil before going back to Pakistan. However, if you want to apply after arriving in America and before traveling back home to Pakistan, then there are other steps that need to be taken first. Depending on your situation, you might be able to file for a change of status once you're already in America or apply at an embassy or consulate outside of the country beforehand.
Job opportunities after completing your degree in the USA
If you are thinking about searching for a job after finishing your degree in the USA, here are some tips that may help. First, check with your school to see if they have any resources for international students. Many schools will have faculty on hand who specialize in placement and careers. In addition, ask if there is an Alumni Association where you could reach out to find alumni who may be willing to make an introduction to potential employers. Lastly, try contacting firms or employers directly through LinkedIn or by looking at opportunities on Craigslist or Indeed. Most jobs are advertised online and require some sort of credentials before the employer will consider interviewing the candidate.
Here are some other tips to help you find a job after graduating from university. Make sure your resume highlights your experience and includes specific examples of how you used skills from your degree to solve problems. In addition, employers may want candidates with experience working or volunteering for an organization related to their industry so do some research ahead of time to see if there are any businesses or organizations that would be interested in hiring international students with specific majors. Finally, be sure you understand local employment laws so you know what steps need to be taken before starting a new job.
Wider scope of your career opportunities
No matter what it is that you're looking for, there are opportunities and ways to find work in the United States. I spoke with two Pakistani students who got their jobs on LinkedIn, but that's not the only way. Your best bet may be to go through agencies who specialize in immigration and relocation--they're a good resource if you're trying to land a specific type of job (e.g., medical doctor) or don't have any connections in America. You might also want to check out websites like Monster and Indeed for entry-level positions--many American companies list openings on these sites, though you'll probably need a resume first if you're not currently living here.
Higher salary range than India
1. You need to have a deep understanding of American culture as well as proficiency in English. One reason for this is that accents are quite distinctive and show up immediately, indicating the person may not be fully competent with the language. 2. Dress well and politely at all times, and be sure to use good manners, especially when dealing with senior management or more influential clients. When speaking on the phone to someone you don't know, it's good to introduce yourself and express your concerns about their health or family before asking about the company 3. Resume should showcase your relevant academic background, international experience and work history 4. Be open-minded to feedback from your employer 5. Keep an eye out for upcoming jobs advertised on internet
Cost of living will be lesser as compared to India
Pakistan may not have many big industries, but it is still a developing country and therefore the cost of living is lower than some of the other developing countries. You will also be able to experience new customs and meet people from all over the world that you never would have had a chance to meet had you stayed in your hometown. The English language is still very prevalent here, which makes it easier for everyone who speaks English as their first language.
Once you have enough experience, moving back to India may make sense for you. It can take time to find success in a new country, so if at first things do not work out go back home and regroup. There are many opportunities waiting for you there too!
People are more respectful towards Foreigners
Many people are shocked to find out that many foreigners like me, who were born and raised abroad and attended college in the US have an easier time finding jobs. There is a lot of money around these days, so American companies are focusing on hiring the right people with a diverse background and experience. Companies want to see not only your qualifications but also if you would fit into their company culture. If they sense that you would be considered an outsider or couldn't make meaningful connections at work then you may be passed over for someone else with more experience or suitable connections.
People often perceive Foreigners as hard working, humble and willing to learn new things; which makes them ideal candidates for high level jobs with big corporations that demand big data driven decision making abilities.
Moving abroad after degree is good for your career prospects
Moving abroad after your degree is a great way to jumpstart your career prospects. If you're an American, I would recommend applying for the Fulbright Scholarship. It is the perfect opportunity to live and work in a foreign country and gain a professional experience that will look great on any resume. You'll have plenty of time to decide where you want to live and what career opportunities you might be looking for while abroad, which can only help lead you towards your future goals.
If you're not a U.S. citizen, but have an employment offer in another country, there are other opportunities to immigrate with a job and begin your career overseas. For example, if you're from Canada and want to work in Dubai after graduating from college, you could apply for a post-graduation work permit sponsored by your employer. Depending on where you want to live and work after graduation, there are many different visa options that will allow you to work legally abroad without having to return home first or applying for a second citizenship.
